We are IllogicalĀ

The Okanagan- My Home
Today, as I write, ‘We are illogical’, I have arrived in the sunny Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦. Throughout the fall and winter months you’ll find me feverishly writing science-fiction thrillers and assorted screenplays, such as BLACK ANGELS (ready for release) and short stories, like Android Alisha. But during the months of June, July and August, you’ll find me at my summer home, partaking in outdoor activities within our Canadian oasis, well known by celebrities across North American. In fact, as we speak, there’s a couple of filming crews setting up in Kelowna, BC. This may be the summer home for the rich and famous, but to me, it’s simply where I was raised as a kid. It’s indeed my home. For Canada 150 or your next vacation I highly recommend you take a visit to the sunny Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦.

WE ARE ILLOGICAL

My creative art of writing can be referred to as the ‘Vincent Van Gogh art-impressionist-style’, left with secret hidden messages throughout each paragraph. Writing is an expression from my inner soul, hoping to make a difference to my readers, as they begin to explore the plots and twists behind my stories.

Throughout my life I have questioned our reality.  The how and why of our very existence is indeed intriguing, leading me to believe the possibilities of a higher intelligence far surpassing our own. I like to refer them as our ancestral GODS, who have left behind visible landmarks and scriptural clues. It’s even speculated the GODS of the Heavens may have altered our DNA and evolutionary timeline, making us who were are today.

With the ways of our human race, it frustrates me to no end, “Why do we react in such an illogical behavioural pattern, causing physical harm to others, over our proposed belief in religion and/or power ?”

As Mr Spock would say,” ā€œMay I say that I have not thoroughly enjoyed serving with humans? I find their illogic and foolish emotions a constant irritant.”

Writing is my passion and speaks out to our foolish ways, thinking we have complete control over everything. Where, in reality, we are nothing more then a small dot in the evolutionary timeline, waiting to be exterminated by the forces of nature, much more powerful then we could ever comprehend.

Our historical past is extremely violent, as is our present day. From dictatorship to religious fanatics, its remarkable our human species hasn’t yet been terminated. We are indeed an illogical species, forgetting about the needs of the many and too many of us are self absorbed in the needs of the one.

We are illogical.

It’s my hope my grandchildren will one day explore the fruits of our universe while building the foundation of their generation into a more stable civilized society expressing the love for others. If not, it’s just a matter of time our species will become extinct, like our predecessors, the dinosaurs.

Maybe one day, millions of years in the future, another carbon-based species will find and decipher today’s article, taking heed to the warning signs of our demise. THEM, being an advanced civilization who were nurtured by millions of years of unaltered evolution, they may wonder how these savage human beings ever survived at all.

OR

Maybe today, the younger generation will read this article, realizing the fate of mankind, taking steps to eradicate the diseased virus of being self absorbed and begin a brighter future for all of mankind, where freedom is for all, wars no longer exist and the meaning of peace and love is for everyone. It will also mean we must explore other worlds, in order to remove the hardships of Mother Earth, as our footprints continuously places havoc on our planet’s fragile environment. We can be the loving caretakers of earth šŸŒ and other M-based planets we visit, realizing our world is a living breathing entity of life, essential to our own well being. We still have a chance to grow into responsibility human beings with the potential to become caring individuals who takes our ‘footprint’ on earth seriously. If not, we may never repair the harm we’ve placed upon on our own beloved planet, we call HOME. And, if so, we don’t have an right to eject our human-virus onto other planets

We are illogical but we can learn to be so much more. Sadly, we have the potential, but never seem to use it for the betterment of mankind.

Welcome to EarthĀ

Welcome to EarthĀ

Welcome to Earth by Bari Demers
I run and own Facebooks Page Vegas Reviews. With the last Presidential debate in Las Vegas, it was hard not to say anything. After all I like to write, be it science fiction stories or my opinions in our world today.

This is why I named my WordPress blog DREAMS AND REALITY

The DREAMS are from my prospective of our future mixed with science-fiction and fantasy. In comparison, the REALITY points out the integration of our society and will usually point out a warning in our near future. If we keep on the same path of destruction, mankind’s future may turn out to be a blink one.

With the Americans about to pick their 45th President of the United States, it brings up the welfare of humanity and what it’s striving for. There are over 350 million people in the United States. In comparison to India, this is only one third of their population. But the same concerns are still there, be it only 35 million in Canada, to over one and half billion people in China. Can the world sustain such a growing population ? Our world resources are quickly being gobbled up by an alarming rate, while damaging Earth, itself. The environment will eventually collapse under the stress of human beings interaction.

Our future on Earth looks frightening blink, to say the least.

Right now Americans are worried and have good reason. They’re not only concerned about United States and where it will be in their near future, families are worried for their children and grandchildren. What kind of life will they endure after our generation are long gone? They will have to pickup the pieces we so willingly destroyed, due to carelessly or greed.

Picking a leader, not only means someone with a good head on their shoulders, but also capable of answering the needs of its people. We all hope the thin imaginary walls ( if Trump gets in, these walls won’t be imaginary) are impervious to any kind of threat. The election will hopefully put in a strong leader, who really means to make a difference.

I think what Americans ( like the rest of the sane world) are most worried about is :

  • Their families are safe from harm.
  • Each family have strong sustainable jobs with a comfortable income to ensure their kids and grandkids are able to live in a free world, safe and secure.
  • Education is assessable to everyone, no matter what your financial status is.
  • Americans don’t want to see the world financial market crumbling at their doorstep. In other words, a strong economy with American made products available throughout each industry.
  • It’s also important that whatever job they do, they enjoy that job so much, it no longer seems like work. So, in other words, education strives towards what they LOVE to do.
  • An Agricultural equation where food and water is available to everyone.
  • A strong push for reusable resources, without destroying our environment.
  • The opportunity for families to enjoy life to the fullest with worrying where their next meal is coming from. The health and welfare of their families is number one.
  • And America’s Space Program should begin exploration as never before. It’s to ensure the safety and future of all humanity.

We Need You
With that said, whatever happens on November 8 2016 – May the BEST candidate WIN! wink wink šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

It will be the 58th quadrennial U.S. presidential election and the 45th President of the United States. To see the first woman President in office, would indeed make history, leading America into a new age away from the discrimination of women, colour or race. A Nation growing for a better tomorrow.

Good Luck to both candidates!

AND – if your an Alien visiting from a far away planet – Welcome to Earth!

Do Pets Dream ?

I believe they do.

Scientists are always testing the effects of RBD ( Sleep Behavior Disorder) in humans and what is called paradoxical sleep without atonia in animals.

Atonia is a state described where a brain mechanism is triggered causing our muscles to relax, which is really a good thing.

Can you imagine the outcome of acting out your dream?

Clinical studies agree there’s noticeable behavior in our pets experiencing dreams. Unfortunately they can’t express their dream for obvious reasons. If they could it would remind me something like Garfield (the cartoon cat) would say,” Hey there human? You want to hear about my dream? ”

Every pet owner will agree with me without a doubt they do indeed dream. I have experienced my dog Piper whimper, growl and twitch in a manner that resembles dreaming.

Have you experience your pet dreaming?
