Our Nagging Brain

[ Poster Credit : Bari Demers – self taught graphic designer ]

WE humans are indeed a diverse species with millions of years of evolution, developing in who we are today. It may be our evolutionary timeline was drastically altered by our ancient ancestors, but overall WE have survived.

Interesting, our biological brain, still clouded with its mysterious beginnings, dictates our consciousness to do what we do. It’s the master of our biological body, controlling us everyday living on EARTH.

Only our brain knows our darkest secrets.

It feeds us with intel and safe guards, keeping our ‘Spiritual Being’ free from harm. That IS, only if, we listen to our inner thoughts. Somehow we have the option to reject our basic animalistic warnings, injecting ourselves to bodily harm. Complex our brain is, it too can be subject to all kinds of circuitry malfunction, from a birth defect to severe accidents. If our brain is healthy, firing up all its circuits, its amazing what WE humans can achieve.

Believing who we are can be complicated.

It’s clear our brain and consciousness are constantly fighting, trying to prove our very existence. The creation of man-made religion is clear of that, giving evidence to the battle inside of us all. Each tribe of human beings demanding our ‘religion’ is the right one. It has plagued us throughout our history, resorting mankind to its darkest moments of shame and incogitable terror.

Our consciousness (controlled by our brain) believe we have a soul. The brain tries to calculate why we exist. Who are we? Where do we come from ? Those two basic questions have divided mankind from the very beginning of existence.

To add insult to injury, our brain may think it’s all so powerful, becoming the savage dictators in our historical past and present, tormenting fellow human beings ; subjects to their rule.

On an individual basis, we are constantly fighting ourselves.

For example, I’ll give two different comical dialogues – my BRAIN talking to my ME.

FIRST DIALOGUE OF INNER THOUGHTS:

BRAIN : How do you feel ?

ME ( Consciousness) : Who me?

BRAIN : Yes you ! Who else am I talking to?

ME : Why does it matter ?

BRAIN : I need to know you are OK. Are you happy?

ME : Am I happy. No…I don’t think so. Most writers aren’t…

BRAIN : Why aren’t you happy ? What could make you a happy person?

ME : Finding my soul mate would help. Being financially secure would be another one. It would be nice if someone bought my screenplay BLACK ANGELS for $200,000. Then I could be financially secure.

BRAIN : You’re a dreamer!

ME : I know.

BRAIN : What do you believe would make that prefect soul mate ?

ME : Another female human being who has the same interests as me. Who backs me up, sharing identical views.

BRAIN : You realize I’m laughing inside…right? There’s no such thing as that prefect soul mate. It doesn’t exist. It doesn’t exist because human beings are constantly changing, growing from what they were in the beginning. Stop dreaming and be realistic !

ME : Wait a minute ! That’s what I do. I’m a dreamer and a lover of life. That IS why I write. My interest in ‘Space Exploration’ and defining WHO we are, explores my inner thoughts into words. That IS ME.

BRAIN : Me…me…me. It’s NOT all about YOU. You must of heard these words before,” A King has his reign, and then he dies. It’s inevitable.”

ME : I’m not a King !

BRAIN : No. But you ARE just another human being, trying to make his mark in life before you die, It’s inevitable. “ In this world, nothing is certain, except death and taxes.” Time is always against you.

ME : OK then! Thank you Brain for making my life seem so promising.

BRAIN : No problem!

ME : You realize I’m being sarcastic…right?

BRAIN : Of course I do ! After all I control your inner thoughts.

SECOND DIALOGUE OF INNER THOUGHTS:

BRAIN : Hello ?

ME: NOTHING. ZZZZZZZZ….

BRAIN : Hello?! Good Morning! Up and Atom.

ME : What ? What do you want?

BRAIN: It’s time to exercise that brain of yours. Come on …

ME : Yeah …yeah…do I have to ?

BRAIN : You must! I need me in top shape. So…let’s move those muscles. Get-up and begin your workout program. Up Up Up ! Besides, the rest of us had a talk.

ME: What ?! Who? What do you mean? Your such a crazy Brain.

BRAIN : I’ve just had a meeting with your heart, lungs and liver. They want me to be the spokesman. Actually, I’m the Leader of the Pack. Well…just between you and me, I’m much smarter than they will ever be.

ME: It sounds like a conspiracy to me. What did you all talk about?

BRAIN: The heart, lungs and liver say,” You’re doing a great job, but you must keep going. It’s essential to your health.”

ME: OK. But I don’t feel like it.

BRAIN: Too bad. Cry me a River! Let’s get out of bed and out that door.

ME : Ok ! Ok …fine! You’re such a nag sometimes.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion our brain dictates who we are. But is it our consciousness ? Do we have a soul ? Is there more then our physical existence? I choose to believe there is more…a lot more. And I’m NOT talking about man-made religion or the singular GOD in the sky.

No. I’m talking about SPIRITUALITY – OUR DESTINY.

Thank you nagging brain.

Alien Covenant Review

Warning : SPOILERS ALERT

Finally had the opportunity to watch ALIEN COVENANT this past month and I must say it was a little disappointing. Following Alien franchise since the beginning, the storyline is important to me. My first outburst of the movie was on Twitter :

“Saw @AlienAnthology #VFX astounding but #storyline upsetting. Astronauts have strict protocols. What happened, shouldn’t #AlienCovenant”

Let me explain :

NUMBER ONE

Any one hand-picked for a mission responsible for 2000 colonist, heading for distant planet Origae-6, would (in my mind) be highly trained Astronauts with strict protocols. Their responsibility is the welfare of colonist and not some rogue beacon on an unknown planet. Life-form or not, the DAVID android would make note-of-it, sending a electronic message back to earth through MUTHUR (MUTHUR is the Starship’s on-board main A.I. pronounced M-O-T-H-E-R).

If we were on Star Trek, Mr. Spock would definitely say,” It’s NOT logical. To make critical errors in judgment, threatening 2000 colonist is indeed unlikely.”

BUT – it’s a movie, meant to add precarious irrational decisions, causing complete havoc with no return. That’s what makes a movie exciting.

Screenwriters are trained to follow a specific Screenplay Outline, as are Directors. But Directors have the freedom to change whatever they want, as long as it makes a substantial profit at the box office. Here’s a quick layout :

1. ACT ONE – Establishment | Setup | Inciting Incident | Contemplation | Turning Point

2. ACT TWO – Acceleration | Enter Obstacles | Dead Centre | Crossing the Rubicon | Raising the Stakes | Crisis

3. ACT THREE – Prepare for Confrontation | Climatic Conflict | Aftermath and Resolution | Dissolution and Farewell

See HERE for in-depth detail.

The point is, there must be some kind of conflict and a series of mistakes to add tension to the movie, or else it would be pretty boring. For example, the real events and mishaps of Apollo 13 turned into a good movie, because the astronauts and NASA had to solve real problems in a dangerous environment. The iconic words, spoke the urgency…

“Houston, we’ve had a problem…”

It was indeed a life or death defining situation, where the whole world followed in their survival and safety back to earth from the moon.

That said, it’s vital the storyline makes sense or it becomes a jumbling mismatch puzzle with incoherent timelines, making us viewers grasp for reality. Knowing all to well Ridley Scott is a master Director, it seems ludicrous he wouldn’t tell a good storyline. After a little research, it wasn’t long before I realized the editing process of cutting scenes from Alien Covenant, proved to be the culprit. Ridley Scott’s creativity was hacked by removing crucial scenes by the editors involved. As a director I would be biting my upper lip, as scenes were eliminated.

Curiously, Ridley Scott still has full control of his movie.

So why did he approve of the Covenant crew making so many mistakes? Is it just a Hollywood ploy, to make fans see AWAKENING in order to get all the answers?

To me, this is how I would change the scene to make it work :

It would make more sense if android DAVID caused the INCIDENT, where he sent a deadly beam of energy disrupting the starships point-of-origin. It would be better then a random wave of CME ( Corona Mass Eruption) from a nearby star, as it happens in the movie. The scenes from that point would still hold true ; waking up the crew and killing their captain, due to a malfunction of his pod. In my mind, the burst of energy could have crippled the Starship to no return, causing it to crash on the planet where David is patiently waiting to carry out his deranged assault on the crew still alive. Crash landing on this planet would have made for a gripping terrifying scene.

NUMBER TWO

I love the fact Alien Covenant continues 10 years after my beloved movie Prometheus, so well executed by Ridley Scott. Personally watch Prometheus a dozen times to pick up eastereggs* I may have missed.

ON THAT NOTE :

To me I really don’t understand the backlash of Prometheus from fans. I realize the original ALIEN was basically a B-movie horror-slasher, but with its strong storyline and well executed ( pun intended ) actors, Alien did well at the box office. It was like this secret little gem waiting to be opened. That said, it’s my belief the fans of Alien, Aliens and so on, expect a horror slasher unconcerned about the science-fiction, the actual science and the clever plots Ridley Scott placed into Prometheus. It’s clear Ridley Scott caved to the wishes of its ALIEN fans, giving them the blood thirsty slasher ALIEN COVENANT.

[SPOILER ALERT FOR PROMETHEUS]

NUMBER THREE

If you followed Prometheus, you would be familiar with our lovely character Elizabeth Shaw, the last human surviver, along with David. We know Elizabeth doesn’t trust David, but she needs him to fly the Engineers Starship in order to answering the burning question she asked the Juggernaut,” Why did YOU (The Engineers) change your mind? What did we do wrong? Why do you want us dead?”

If I were Elizabeth, my trust in David would be nil. After fixing David and his ability to set course for Engineer’s HOMEWORLD using one of many alien Derelict spacecraft 🚀, I would immediately place David in stasis before doing the same myself. Any kind of tampering of my hyperbaric sleep chamber, would immediately set off an emergency alarm with instant release from stasis. So, in effect, Elizabeth would still be alive when Alien Covenant crew arrives, meaning a whole chain of events could take place.

I love the FINAL LOG of Dr. Shaw :

Elizabeth’s Final LOG, last survivor of Prometheus :

“The ship and her entire crew are gone. If you’re receiving this transmission, make no attempt to come to its point of origin. There is only death here now, and I’m leaving it behind. It is New Year’s Day, the year of our Lord, 2094. My name is Elizabeth Shaw, the last survivor of the Prometheus. And I am still searching.”

<<<<
AIN JAMES MONTANA’S FINAL LOG :

In conclusion, overall Alien Covenant seems to have gain support by the majority of fans, and in the end, that's what really counts. 21st Century Fox covered the production budget cost of $97 million (reasonable, considering other scifi movies) making $238 million in sales.

Not bad, not bad at all.

I'm sure Ridley Scott was relieved he hit the mark for fans and certainly Fox must be pleased too. As a long time fan of the Alien Trilogy, can't wait to see the release of Alien: Covenant sequel AWAKENING, apparently starts production in 14 months. If I had a choice of Directors for my Scifi BLACK ANGELS, dear Ridley Scott would be first pick.

Dreaming Las Vegas

Vegas Reviews by Bari Demers
Today I have to share with you one of my strangest dreams, I like to call : DREAMING LAS VEGAS but before I do, I’ve just heard Don Rickles has passed away at age 90.  Last year I wrote a small article about him HERE.

One thing for sure, in this dream of mine, I’m certainly considered a Vegas Lover, to be dreaming such a bizarre storyline.  It’s a crazy dream, to be sure.  It also means I need to make another visit to Las Vegas.

So here goes my dream : DREAMING LAS VEGAS

For some strange reason, in my dream, I’m “All By Myself” … as my mind picks up the original song by Eric Carmen

Lyrics

When I was young

I never needed anyone

And makin’ love was just for fun

Those days are gone

Livin’ alone

I think of all the friends I’ve known

But when I dial the telephone

Nobody’s home

All by myself

Don’t want to be, all by myself anymore

All by myself

Don’t want to live, all by myself anymore

Hard to be sure

Some times I feel so insecure

And love so distant and obscure

Remains the cure

(Celine Dion has sung this song many times and one of the times, was during her Las Vegas performance in 2016 after the passing of her husband. An emotionally time for dear Celine.)

Here’s the video

Continue :

I’m in a long luxurious black limo. The interior is lavishly decorated with all the bells and whistles you can think of. And get this, it even has a hot tub – go figure! I warned you it was a crazy dream 🙄.

Arriving, my personal female driver kindly opens the door. Right away, as my hand touches hers, I noticing her long graceful soft hands with fashionable fingernails. Her nails were presented with a series of tasteful sparkles and a nice shade of dark pink. I remember the scent of her perfume instantly ; could tell right away it was an expensive Christian No. 1*

The reason is, my mom use to wear this kind of perfume on special occasions.

Moving on :

Getting out of the limo I noticed for the first time how beautiful my chauffeur was.  Her stunning green eyes sparkled a glimmering colour of emerald, through the light of the morning desert sun. Underneath the chauffeur style hat, her long brunette hair was tasteful tied into a ponytail.  Her smile was so captivating and innocent, it was if she caught me her web.

I was in love.

“Mr Watts? Sir?” questioned Chris, ” Is everything alright?”

Snapping out of it, I smiled and said,” No…I mean yes …I mean …Thank you Chris.”  It then dawned on me, my first girlfriend’s name was Christine ( Chris for short ) ; maybe that’s why I was so captivated?

Chris asked,” Will there be anything else Mr Watts?”

In my dream, I thought, “That’s strange, she keeps calling me by the name of Watts.  My last name isn’t Watts,” I shrugged my shoulders and decided it really didn’t matter. I handed her a $20 tip and said,” No. Thank you.  Now remember to pick me up in five days. ”

She nodded and said,” Of course Sir, after all, I’m your personal chauffeur.”

I thought for second, ” This is crazy, I can’t afford a personal driver? What does she mean? I’m not a rich movie star with my own personal entourage? ” Oh well…decided to go with it, shrugging my shoulders.

Looking up at the lavish Vegas Resort, it features an architectural skyscraper with brilliant greyish-blue glass panels, as far as the eye can see. For some strange reason I have no idea the name of this 5 Star Resort, only that it was the best-of-the-best in Las Vegas. You know, the one celebrities and rich tycoons find favourable because of the luxurious service and expensive taste.

Heading into this upscale Vegas Resort, I was quickly greeted at the door by the GM of the Hotel. I thought, ” Whoa! Talk about service!” He reached out to shake my hand and said,” It a pleasure to see you again Mr Watts. I will personally take you to your room.”

Again I thought,” My name isn’t Watts?! ” But whatever, I just go with it.

We head over to the personal VIP elevator with only one button to press, featuring the Presidential Suite.

I’m thinking,” This is crazy, I can’t afford this?!”

Reaching top floor, the golden doors of the elevator opened with a soft swish (just like the doors on Star Trek – go figure!) The GM showcases the lavish Egyptian-themed room featuring everything you can imagine, fit for any Pharaoh, Queen or King. Awestruck, I slowly walked towards the seven foot glass doors to the grand balcony overlooking the spectacular view of the Vegas Strip. The doors open automatically, peering over (looking way down), I could see the hustle and bustle of tourists, seemingly tiny as scurrying ants.

You know that feeling when you first arrive in Vegas ? That satisfied feeling of awe and excitement, ready to take on-the-town? That’s how I felt.

The GM said,” Your entourage will be here soon Mr Watts.”

I nodded. Walking back in, it was then I noticed someone was putting my cloths away in the drawers from my one and only suitcase, thinking,” Boy my suitcase holds a lot of stuff.” It seemed endless, like a bottomless pit !

Then, just like that my dream took on another side.

For some strange reason my room was filled with other people. I mean, like complete strangers. Like we were in a group of tourists, all doing the same tour. Some were busy emptying their luggage, as another would make a grand entrance by falling heavily on the bed next to mine. Beside my bed I noticed a stocked bar with my very own bartender.

An attractive women beside me said,” Oh Wow! Aren’t you lucky! Your bed is the most lavish of them all.”

The minute she said that I got that strange feeling I was indeed in the wrong room. This can’t be right? Not to embarrass myself, I quietly left the room. After all, I didn’t want these strangers to realize I was given a room I couldn’t possibly afford.

It was then, I was on a mission to find my rightful room.

Eventually I found the most strangest elevator, looking more of a circular laundry-shoot then an elevator. Trying to open this 18th century styled copper cylinder door, I quickly smelled something burning. You know, that electrical burning smell ? The door seemed stuck and it grind to a halt. Grabbing the door, I muscled my way in, fearing I’d miss my ride down. It’s then I realize there’s others in an adjacent elevator, beside me. As a matter of fact, it’s a series of cylinder elevators, on what seems like a roller coaster ride.

Yes. That’s it, exactly like a roller coaster ride!

I hear one of the guys talking to his friend,” What the hell?! Why is this guy holding up the ride?”

Below me I noticed the open grated floor, and underneath was this long endless track for a roller coaster. I was like,” Oh boy! What did I get myself into this time? I can’t stand rollercoaster rides!” Just like that I’m rushed down at supersonic speeds, heading into oblivion, like some Interstellar Spaceship. Suddenly I felt nauseated. Eyes wide open, I began to sweat with complete fear, as my fingers gripped the bars for dear life.

Suddenly it was all over.

I had reached the 8th Floor. Feeling light-headed my body staggered out of this peculiar elevator. Relieved to exit this time machine, my whole body felt like a ton-of-bricks. It’s like I just came back from a month aboard the ISS ( International Space Station), with me feeling like jello.

I couldn’t seem to lift myself, as gravity took over.

After some time of just laying there, in the middle of this Vegas Resort hallway, I finally managed to get up, edging myself against the wall (like a drunken sailer) trying to find my room.

There it is ! Room 80000090 – Go figure !

I felt my pockets and there it was, a pass key. Sliding it into the door, the mechanic noise you’re so familiar with, opened the door. Staggering into this dark room, the drapes opened automatically.
It was an upgraded Vegas room overlooking a beautiful courtyard featuring an oasis of inviting pools. On one end of the 1200 sq ft room there was a stocked open-bar nestled into the corner. To the west wall was a grand Samsung 110-inch Ultra HDTV TV. In front we’re four leather Theatre lounging chairs. Along the east wall sat a dining room table, with a fully stocked kitchenette.

Looking into the next room, it featured a huge King-sized bed with a pillow-top mattress, feather down comforter and Egyptian cotton linen. Just to my right, a marble-floor washroom showcased a glass enclosed shower, a modern deep bathtub, double sinks and a make-up side table.

I knew right then and there, I had reached the correct room.

Throwing myself onto the bed, I quickly crashed into a deep sleep. Opening my eyes I then realized it was all but a dream.

But, oh boy, did it ever seem real!

As a screenwriter, I just had to share this incredible dream of mine – I hope you enjoyed my crazy dream.  It clear I’m a Vegas Lover, subconsciously thinking of my next trip to wonderful wonderland Las Vegas.  This could possibly be made into a short film, I’m sure.

Our Reality is but a Dream

Our Dreams by Bari Demers
[The original photo was taken in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia,Canada. It’s been tweaked by Prisma but the true photo represents an art piece similarly to Vincent Van Gogh. By Bari Demers]

DREAMS VERSES REALITY

A Dream is nothing more then an illusion of our reality. Our reality is only related to the physical world, where the world plays an illusion of our dreams, we continuous strive for…but never to obtain.

As we play with our consciousness, we realize our physical being is nothing like the unreachable replica of our dreams.

In our world of reality, our brain directs our senses, picking up the world for what it really is. It’s a cold calculated, unforgivable entity reminding YOU, you’re not the master of this physical world. Any mistake we encounter may lead our physical bodies to feel pain and sorrow. Curiously though, our brain (we so depend on)never feels pain. It’s an illusion playing with our reality. Our brain always plays tricks on us to believe we are conscious, therefore everything we see, must be real. The senses controlled by the brain, makes sure of that.

Until we fall back into a dream

In a dream, our brain frees us from the reality of the physical world we live in. Suddenly we can do anything our mind dreams we can do. We can fly, feeling the cold wind across our face or have the ability to jump precariously off high buildings, landing harmlessly below. Our dreams can race us across the universe, exploring an unknown planet. A deadly planet filled with harmful gases or incredible G-forces, that would surely crush us, if we were in the physical world.

But, here we are, unharmed.

In a dream, our personal self finds that prefect lover, waiting for us, ready to fulfill our dreams. While in the physical world, we are desperate to seek for our true soul mate, knowingly it’s only a dream. Alas, in the real world we are willing to settle for someone close to our dreams, because we already know our image of perfection is only perceived in our dreams.

Our brain rules our consciousness, telling us there’s a higher purpose or a higher entity. We concede to our consciousness and give it a name. We call it GOD. This controlling brain of ours even goes one step further, explaining to our consciousness, if we can’t explain what we see, then it must be the act of GOD. You would think our brain is finished controlling our thoughts. But no, it continues to push us forward, pushing us towards an inconceivable thirst of knowledge, seeking out an unattainable truth. Seeking out the truth of who we are, what we are and where we are. If we can’t find an definitive answer, we look even deeper then before, until we realize our answers are filled with yet more unanswered questions.

Our brain never gives up until the day we die.

Lucky for us, even our brain needs to rest. In this time of rest, our brain collects and organizes data as if we were defragmenting our own computer. As we sleep, it’s believed this processing time is acted out in our dreams, in a mix match of bizarre images. It’s mind blowing effects would impress any Hollywood director.

Curious though, our dreams are as real as if we were awake.

I say to you, our Reality is but a Dream. We explore the possibility, our real physical world is nothing more then a test, preparing us for a more deeper meaning, releasing us from life, altogether. As the Egyptians Gods, we continue on a journey surpassing anything we have ever encountered before.

Once your mind realizes, our reality is nothing more then an illusionary dream you’ll become disillusioned, wonder why we even play this game at all. A world of complete madness, fed by human games where the stakes are high. Our misguided society worshipping celebrities and leaders like gods, offering our souls to their commands.

We are such a silly human being.

In this world, we must constantly free ourselves from this insanity. And we do, by expressing our souls to the inner spiritual self, through music and our artistic abilities. As an actor gives everything to create that character, so do musicians, pouring out their heart and soul. As for me, I’m an artist with words. My words could easily be refer to as Vincent van Gogh’s Art, an impressionist with a hidden message.

Reality controls the limitations of physical bodies, whereas our dreams free our souls along a wondrous journey. Free your soul from the darkness and follow me on a journey of dreams, where our future is exposed.

The Cosmos vs The Heavens

The Cosmic Universes by Bari Demers
Every scientist and astronomy student on earth knows the mini TV Series, the 2014 Cosmos – Spacetime Odyssey hosted by narrator astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, inspired by Carl Saga’s first documentary episode in Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, a thirteen-part television series written by Carl Sagan, Ann Druyan, and Steven Soter in 1980. With a brigade of producers, one producer stood out amongst the others. His name is one you wouldn’t expect to find, but there he was, the illusive Seth MacFarlane, creator of (Yes you guessed it! ) “Family Guy”. The team of writers and the cash full of producers encouraged the National Geographic and History Channel, to run a modern mini series of the Cosmos, in a way to honour Carl Sagan.

In the early years the King of the Cosmos was no other then astrophysicist and astronomer, Carl Sagan. His keen interest in the universe and his ability to share the Cosmos in a way the average Joe could understand, was indeed awe inspiring to the world. Back then, Neil Tyson was a young teenager from the Bronx of New York City, (dreaming of becoming a scientist) had the opportunity to meet Carl Sagan himself. In fact, Carl invited him the Ithaca at Cornell University, after seeing his application of admittance there. As Spock would say,”Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end”, therefore it only makes logical sense for Neil to be the narrative of the new mini series the Cosmos – Spacetime Odyssey.

Carl Sagan inspired many others, including myself, who just bought his brand new published book, Cosmos published in 1980. Turning the pages, it wasn’t long before I realized how small we really are on a cosmic level. Indeed, I was awe struck by the magnitude of Carl Sagan’s words leaping off the pages.

The universe finally made sense to me.

Little did I know at the time how significant this book was, until one fateful day. As a young father in my twenties, my world came crashing down around me, when my first born child, Jenni Michelle Demers died of a painful rare disease only known as Kawasaki. The doctor’s of this time had very little knowledge of the effects or if there was even a cure.

BUT – they told my wife (Patricia) and I, we had nothing to fear, as the death rate was only 10 percent.

That evening (to everyone’s shock) poor little Jenni died on November 5, 1980. The soar of uncontrollable grief held us in an zombie trance of unforgivable torture. All I could possibly think of then,”What kind of GOD would allow a baby to die ?!”

After putting Jenni to rest, we were ushered out to our family farm on the lonely prairies of southern Saskatchewan. It was a frightening cold winter, with the digits reaching well below -55 C, as the prairie winds formed eight foot snow drifts. The countless visitors to our small farmhouse (paying their respects to Jenni’s short life) started to smother me to death. I needed to escape this crushing feeling of despair. Overcome by my lingering darkness of grief, my anger got the best of me. I quickly ran out into the midnight freezing cold, with nothing more then the shirt on my back.

Exerting my rage, I yelled at the top of my lungs,” God damn you! God damn you to hell!” Shaking my fist to the brilliant night sky. It was then I noticed the vastness of our universe and how beautiful the Milky Way stood out amongst the icy prairie night, as the countless stars twinkled. Suddenly I could see one star burning brighter then the others.

“Could it be?!” I thought.

Was God pointing me in the direction where Jenni laid ? Or was my imagination just getting the best of me? Who really knows what the truth is ?

To me, it was clear.

Jenni stirred her lasting soul through that one burning star, to assure me she was safe and sound. I could see the star was at least millions or possibly billions of kilometres away. Could it be, Jenni’s soul was lying in a new undiscovered dimension of the universe, only to be revealed to me? I signed with relief.

Within that cosmic minute I was finally at peace with myself.

I remember saying,”Thank you God”. And then paused, shivering like a leaf, realizing only then, my body was freezing to death. I smiled and yelled,” Thank too Carl!” For if it wasn’t for me to expand my knowledge with the gift of Carl Sagan’s book, I would have never thought of the universe in the same way.

To this very day, when I think of Jenni, I think of the burning star in vastness of our incredible universe.

THE JOURNEY

Throughout my life I followed the stars. The Universe, the Cosmos and the Spacetime Odyssey of mankind. The birth of a new star awaits to be built within our image of the universe, as our souls are renewed, forming into another cosmic dust of life. With my new lease on the vision-of-life, I see our universe in a completely different perspective. Our physical bodies may be tied to the gravity of time and space, but our souls are free to go explore the cosmos. The Cosmos of Unity vs The Realm of the Heavens.

Exactly where do the two meet ?

Below is a progressive layout starting with Earth as home-base. If you watched CONTACT (film based on science fiction novel by Carl Sagan, Contact 1985) the beginning shows how insignificant we humans really are. From 1-6 (including 8) is the norm, while I continued on with my own perception of 7, 9, 10 and 11.

The Cosmic Model works like this:

    1. Earth
    2. Solar System
    3. Milky Way Galaxy
    4. Local Group of Galaxies
    5. Virgo Supercluster
    6. Observable Dimensional Universe 1
    7. Ring of the 8 Universes known as the Segment of Orange
    8. The Ocean of Universes bubbles referred to as the Multi-Universe
    9. The Realm of Darkness
    10. Our Spiritual Entity
    11. The Cosmic Governor

    EXPLANATION

Number 7 : Our Universe is only one of many. It’s my perception, after the Observable Dimensional Universe, we already suspect other universes are tied together by known BlackHoles. BlackHoles are the gateway to newer forming universes, robbing our universe of stars, Planets, Galaxies and Quasars. It’s my personal belief the presumed Big Bang Theory is always in motion, on the other side of BlackHoles, where a new universe is beginning to grow. Looking at a model, the best subject would be an Orange with its inside segment, each representing a universe. Moving onto number eight (reducing in size) each bubble represents each Orange model, reaching out into infinity.

Number 9 : It’s already proven our solar system of Planets and Universe lay in what scientists call “Dark Matter”. This dark energy consists of baryonic matter and neutrinos without emitting any spectrum of light, including electromagnetic. We know it exists due to the gravitational effects on our Dimensional Universe and Planets. It’s my belief, there’s a VOID if you will, that contains the birth of dark energy, waiting for its day in the cosmic equation, ripped by Time and Space.

Number 10 : I like to imagine the Spirituality Entity as a place where our souls (light energy) travel after we die. It’s a Cosmic Gateway reported by those who have experienced near-death, transforming images of “The Light”. It could also be described as the meeting place of souls ready to be transformed back into the soup of LIFE. In fact, even though our physical body ends up as dust on earth, our energized soul never really dies, it transforms back into the never ending cosmic equation of life.

Number 11 : Scientist already know our universe is NOT a chaotic mix match, but a mathematical form of the cosmic evolution. In other words there’s still a controlling entity. We like to call it GOD, but I don’t believe it’s a physical god but an overall control station of life, if you will. A governor where the laws of mathematics and nature are the prefect mix, producing life itself.

    CONCLUSION

    The Cosmos vs The Heavens

In today’s chaotic society, our lives and growth are plagued by manmade religion, placing a control over the masses. We are not much different from the time of Nicolaus Copernicus (where his vision of the Sun dominated at the centre of our Solar System, instead of Earth) was excommunicated from the Catholic Church for defining the holy scriptures doctrine. You might say I’m following the path of Copernicus, defining the norm of society reaching out to a better understanding of our cosmic realm.   My Cosmic Theory may take thousands of years to be discovered, but like Nicolaus Copernicus, one day only TIME will tell, as another famous astronomer discovers my theory as truth.

After all, our reality is but a dream
