Lately, I’ve spent most of my time cleaning up some of manuscripts and short stories. Writing and rewriting is truly the goal towards the finish-line of a masterpiece, no matter if you’re writing screenplays, manuscripts for your next book, or short stories.
It’s also just as important to send yourself a draft of your work, to ensure no one decides on plagiarism. Sometimes my drafts are between 7 – 15 rewrites, to where I feel satisfied.
As I may be satisfied with my finished product, the publishers I send it to, are not necessarily convinced with my finished product. Another fresh pair of eyes could possibly bring a brand new perspective, I’ve never considered.
So never feel offended just because you have so much passion in your art. Not everyone will have your back.
On top of that, the idea of presenting your work to your immediate family, believe it or not, isn’t the best choice. With social media today, we’re fed with thousands of articles and news feeds, our lives are literally bombarded with too many reading options.
IF that doesn’t get you, (in my case) it’s essential your reading viewers are lovers of science-fiction, science and horror. So you see, the viewing class gets shorter and shorter.
BUT – if you can grab true hardcore science-fiction fans, it’s all worth it in the end. It truly is the LIFE OF A WRITER.
This past week, my passion is rewriting Robotics on Mars, as it’s close to my heart. Here’s the beginning to wet your whistle…
ROBOTICS ON MARS – CHAPTER ONE
It’s all true. All of it. You know what I mean.
In the back of your mind you’ve always wondered if those conspiracy theories could possibly be true. You know the ones I’m talking about ?
Yes…those.
The ones where conspirators rant about ALIENS living on Earth 🌏 or Mars. I’m sure you’ve heard about our Ancient Alien Ancestors visiting, way before mankind had a foothold. Or how about those crazies who unwillingly became abductees, complaining about being probed. Maybe you’ve seen UFO sightings yourself…
Which ever the case may be – Its all true.
Most importantly, government officials, including public organizations, such as NASA, SPACEX, and SETI have quietly kept a lid on it for years. Seriously…have you ever wonder how students in a high school science class can make a replica satellite for only $6000, while the real ones from NASA range from $10 – $40 million dollars each? Anyone with a brain can see the red flags for themselves. All they have to do is look past the smoke and mirrors.
“If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.”
I hope you enjoy it. Come on over to the darkside of SciFi – Please read more of ROBOTICS ON MARS here.
