I run and operate Vegas Reviews on Facebook and was completely shocked to hear of the terrible news in Las Vegas.
This is what I had to say on my Facebook Page :
Vegas Reviews would like to make a statement after last nights tragic shooting. A gunman on the 32 floor randomly fired into the outdoor country music festival below, killing at least 58 people and wounding over 500. The gunman killed himself on scene as the police acted quickly to end this terrible tragedy.
My condolences to the families victims as well as the injured.
I’m baffled as the reason to this senseless shooting.
In the last 48 hours, the world events have been absolutely crazy, from terrorists attack in Marseille, France and in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada…and now this terrible terrible event in Las Vegas.
Vegas Reviews has always been about the FUN of Las Vegas. It’s suppose to be the oasis of enjoyment for everyone but unfortunately we can’t predict the actions of one person. I praise the Las Vegas Police force and first responders for their quick action.
My wife and I have been going to Las Vegas since the 1980’s. Vegas has always been our favourite vacation spot for these past 37 years and it will continue to be the place to go for a rewarding holiday.
I started Vegas Reviews on Facebook along with my website, to symbolize the FUN of Las Vegas – like a bundle of joy. We share 1000’s of photos, videos and valuable tips with other Vegas Lovers, who also have made Vegas their vacation hot spot from across the world.
The City of Las Vegas tragic events hit home, but at the same time, it brings us closer together.
In times of tragedy it always good to see how humanity pulls together to help each other, no matter the risk. It’s our human nature to be compassionate. We praise for all those who have helped. I pray for those victims, where their only objective was to enjoy a concert and to have fun.
We pray for Las Vegas as humanity stands together, in defiance to hatred, where hate has no leg to stand on. Peace and Love is the human way, no matter the colour, race or religion.
