Doctor Who – What a trip !

When I first started watching Doctor Who I was just a boy, way back in 1967. Already intrigued by anything and everything Scifi, Doctor Who was a “no-brainer”.

Original creator, Sydney Newman (from Toronto, Ontario, Canada) a Canadian Film and TV Producer, brought his pitch to the Associated British Corporation (otherwise known as ABC Television Britain) WHO produced the earlier episodes from the 1950’s to late 1960’s, until it moved to BBC.

The programme originally ran from 1963 to 1989 and didn’t get a chance to relaunched until 2005 by Russell T Davies.

Of course, at an early age of 10 years old, my interest wasn’t in WHO made Doctor Who, but my keen interest in the science-fiction series.

Indeed, I was captivated with each episode of Doctor Who.

And today, a few hundred years later (thanks to our favourite Time Lord, I age gracefully) I’m once again glued to the new seasons of Doctor Who, since 2005 (thanks to BBC).

Today, I’m so happy to see the younger generations of Whovians WHO have taken hold of the beloved science fiction TV series. The Time Lord is so pleased with these human-beings, our children.

In conclusion, thank you BBC, Doctor Who and the wild imagination of Mr. Steven Moffat. It’s been a blast and eager to see many many more wonderful episodes.

Cheers from Canada!
